Recently i got an Etisalat line. I registered it and for days after i could not load recharge cards on it. I taught i had been swindled by the guys at Ikeja who registered the SIM Card for me when i bought it.
The next line of action was to call customer care to ask for my registration status that was when it hit me.
You have to make a phone call before you SIM card is registered, preferably to the customer care number 200.
So the next time you get a newly Registered Etisalat SIM card, call customer care first.
