The Registrar of Jamb Prof. Dibu Ojerinde announced the release of the 2011 Jamb examyesterday and i'll quickly be going over some points and stats that he gave yesterday.
- 1, 493, 604 candidates registered for the 2011 jamb
- 1, 450, 143 candidates sat for the exams while 43, 461 were absent.
- 22, 664 results were withheld this year.
- 7, 160 candidate results mostly from Lagos, Abia and Cross-Rivers were questionnable
because of "centers of excellence" - Biometric(thumbprint) verification scared away merceneries.
Now those are some powerful numbers, if you wrote this year's jamb my prayer for you will be that your results should not be
withheld.
